Here’s a great video from Levi’s to encourage our entrepreneurial friends and clients.
Every day, there are more than 600,000 Americans without a place they can call home. While we might stereotype all homeless people as crazy drug addicts, the reality is that a lot of these people are families with children that have lost their domestic autonomy. 1Matters is an organization that seeks to solve this problem by letting individuals and families support themselves financially through employment. Plus, its backed by John Mellencamp! To learn more or donate to the cause, visit http://1matters.org/.
We all know that cancer is devastating for everyone involved, but Kevin Carlberg found a way to stay positive in fighting his own brain cancer while helping others “warriors” too. He started selling apparel with the message “Don’t Worry Be Happy” on them, in which the proceeds went to helping cancer warriors with their bills. Although Kevin is no longer with us, his positive philosophy lives on and is inspiration to us every day. Show your support by purchasing a t-shirt or donating to his cause!
